Overview

The FSUSB242 is a switch that provides high voltage and surge protection for the HSD+/HSD- lines. Surge is an increasing concern for small form factor connectors such USB microB and USB Type-C™. This product will provide 2:1 switching while maintaining sufficient signal integrity so the USB 2.0 HS eye diagram can still be passed.

  • VDD 0 V− 5.5 V (12 V DC tolerant)
  • VDD Operating Range, 2.7 V−5.5 V
  • HSD RON: 5Ω Typical
  • CON = 5 pF Typical
  • Wide −3 dB Bandwidth: > 720 MHz
  • Low Power Operation: ICC < 10 µA (Typical)
